Home-life...
It's been a roller-coaster to sum it up best! The kids have all done the round-robin with the illnesses that have been floating around. Everyone seems to be on the up-and-up now though! (Full of piss 'n' vinegar as my parents would say) If Amy and I could only bottle up some of their energy and save it for OUR days!!
School-life...
Amanda's doing ok. Couple stumbling blocks here and there - but it's improving. Last quarter she obtained a 3.0 gpa - and with the classes she's stumbled in... we're VERY proud! Mars is enjoying his Kindergarten! He loves his Teacher and apparently the School Cafeteria Aide is "Sexy"!! (Boy molded after his "step"dad!) It's been quite an interesting year w/ him! One funny... school music time - nope... won't participate much - BUT, you get some Black Label Society, the Monster Rock CD's, or Avenged Sevenfold, etc... playing... and he's a little rocker! Quentin is in Preschool and is enjoying that as well! Charlie... ohhhhh Charlie... There are good days... and then 'not-so' good days - but all in all; he's usually the one that gets everybody smiling or laughing! I think all the boys (and Amanda) are awaiting the fun-filled summer days ahead of playing ball, riding bike, going to the park, etc...
Parent-life...
Amy's been very steady with keeping the kids busy w/ school, play, and 'downtime' (if there is such a thing these days). She's still @ Target on the weekends, which frees up the weekdays to spend with the kids. Along w/ that - we're dipping into the 'work @ home' edata realm to hopefully create some side cash! The Lottery hasn't pulled through for us yet! :) As for Me... Rapid Fire's treating me very well! Still the Regional Proj. Mngr. for the Bismarck area. Got about 12 jobs ongoing now - looking positive for the duration of the summer months! On the Fire Department side - I've received my Firefighter I certificate! Firefighter II begins in the Fall. As far as calls, we're entering the busy season!! Since March 25th or so - I've been on at least 5-10 calls! The latest and greatest call was the Mutual Aide to Mandan for the Salvage Yard fire that in turn created a wildland fire of 250 acres i think they said... that was a long, hot afternoon! From what I've gathered and heard from some of the vets' on the department - we're in store for a BUSY season!
I think that'll 'bout do it for now - I'll work on getting some updated pictures on here and what not - for the family out there - love you lots! For the friends - the same goes! Take care all! Hope to hear from you soon!!
Love and Friendship,
H² Chief,
Chuck
